New Version of the Market Rules “Market Rules V4.1” with Affective Date of 01/01/2025
This is to notify that a new version of the Market Rules “Market Rules V4.1”, associated with the approved Modifications for 2024, has been issued and published on the website with affective date of 01/01/2025. This update complies with the obligations outlined in clauses G.6.1.3, G.6.1.4, and G.6.1.5, ensuring all Parties are bound by the Modifications and that the Market Operator maintains and publishes the relevant records accordingly. We refer to section H.6.1.4 (c) of the Market Rules, a Communication Failure Default occurs where a Party does not submit Meter Data in compliance with Section J or F, or uses Alternative Communication Means to submit Meter Data, for 3 or more consecutive Trading Days, or for 4 Trading Days in total in a Month. SMN Barka Power Company SAOC failed to submit the Ex-Post Meter Data from 21st to 23rd of December 2024. The Market Operator (MO) has become aware of a Communication Failure Default, and hence issuing a Rectification Notice as per section Q.16.4 of the Market Rules.
